The Virtual Conductor (“Notenes Mester”)
The Virtual Conductor is a temporary interactive installation that gives the audience the ability to experience the role of a conductor of a symphony orchestra by using interactive motion tracking through IR-technology, a 3D game engine and a screen in a bus shed.
By simulating a conductors movements and trying to capture the right notes on the screen you gather points and participate in a contest to win Xbox One and Kinect 2.
The Virtual Conductor was designed and produced under Drivkraft AS on behalf of Stavanger Symfoniorkester, and was a contribution to a local advertising competition by the name of Sterk Reklame 2014.
The project won a prize:
Gold in Sterk Reklame 2014
